Lundquist College of Business faculty members are among the most productive researchers at business schools worldwide, according to the latest rankings of faculty research productivity by the University of Texas at Dallas.
The University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business ranks 53rd in the United States and 78th worldwide.
The University of Oregon has consistently appeared on the prestigious rankings. In both the 2018 and 2017 rankings, Lundquist College faculty moved up 10 places each year. The University of Oregon was also recently ranked first in tax accounting research for the second year in a row by Brigham Young University.
UT Dallas rankings are based on the number of scholarly articles a business school's faculty members have published in 24 peer-reviewed journals over the course of a five-year period. With 56 published articles, Lundquist College faculty members placed 58th among all business schools in the United States and Canada, climbing one spot from last year.
This ranking is particularly notable given the Lundquist College's smaller size relative to many of the other schools on the list and the fact that the rankings are not scaled for number of faculty. The Lundquist College is the only Oregon business school to make the list and one of only four universities in the Pacific Northwest, including two schools in Canada.

The information in the database is used to provide the top 100 business school rankings since 1990 based on the total contributions of faculty. The most recent rankings cover journal publications from 2014 to 2018.
By leading in research, Lundquist College faculty strive to present the latest business trends in their teaching while providing relevant, actionable insights to business leaders, enhancing student experience and adding value to the business community.
